How to I clear search history?

If you don’t want information about the pages you visit to be saved, you can delete all or some browsing history. Browsing history will be deleted on all devices on which you have synchronization turned on and on which you use this browser as a logged in user. How to I clear search history?

Viewing history

1. Open the Chrome app on your Android phone or tablet.
2. In the upper right corner, click More History.
3. If the address bar is at the bottom, swipe up on it. Click History.
4. To access any of the sites listed, click the appropriate entry.
5. To open the page in a new tab, click and hold the entry. In the upper right corner, click More Open in new tab.
6. To copy the page, press and hold the entry. In the upper right corner, click More Copy Link.

Clear history

1. Open the Chrome app on your Android phone or tablet.
2. In the upper right corner, click More History.
3. If the address bar is at the bottom, swipe up on it. Click History.
4. Click Clear browsing data.
5. Next to “Time range”, specify the amount of data you want to delete. To delete everything, select From the beginning.
6. Check “Browsing History.” Uncheck the types of data you don’t want to delete.
7. Click Clear Data.

Removing item from history

You can delete selected items from your history. To find a specific item, click Search in the upper right corner.

1. Open the Chrome app on your Android phone or tablet.
2. In the upper right corner, click More History.
3. If the address bar is at the bottom, swipe up on it. Click History.
4. Find the entry you want to delete.
5. On the right, click Delete.
6. To delete multiple items, click and hold an entry. Select other items to delete. Then click Delete in the upper right corner.

Delete image from New Tab page

To see the pages you go to most often, open a new tab. To delete an image, click and hold it. Then select Delete.

Clear browsing history

Click the Library button, then History, then Clear browsing history …

Select the scope of cleaning:

Click the drop-down menu next to the Period to clear option to specify how much saved data Firefox will delete from your history (last hour, last two hours, last four hours, last day or all).

Use the check boxes to select the data that should be deleted. A detailed description of the data category can be found in the What is stored in history section above?

Press Clear Now. The window will close and the items you choose will be removed from the history.
